October 31st. Has a magical ring to it, hasn’t it? Our thoughts exactly, so we picked this day to be the first day of our, somewhat lengthy, holiday. So what are you guys going to see and do anyway, one might ask and, if so, one would be asking a very good and important question. We’re going to Australia and we will visit some countries on our way to it and on our way back. To be more precise, we’ll visit a total of 8 countries, spread out over a period of four and a half months. For an impression of our upcoming trip, I’ve composed a little list:
31-10-08: Amsterdam -> Helsinki
01-11-08: Helsinki -> Moscow
05-11-08: Moscow -> Beijing
10-11-08: Beijing -> Tokyo
14-11-08: Tokyo -> Hong Kong
18-11-08: Hong Kong -> Brisbane
19-11-08: Brisbane -> Darwin
23-11-08: Darwin -> Uluru/Ayers Rock
25-11-08: Uluru/Ayers Rock -> Darwin
26-11-08: Darwin -> Broome
30-11-08: Broome -> Perth
03-12-08: Perth -> Launceston
13-12-08: Launceston -> Melbourne
19-12-08: Adelaide -> Sydney
02-01-09: Sydney -> Cairns
09-01-09: Cairns -> Brisbane
14-01-09: Brisbane -> Christchurch
04-02-09: Christchurch -> Auckland
18-02-09: Auckland -> Honolulu
05-03-09: Honolulu -> San Francisco
08-03-09: San Francisco -> Las Vegas
11-03-09: Las Vegas -> Amsterdam
That is the whole of our holiday in a nutshell. During our trip we’ll post our experiences and stories on this site so you can keep up with what we’re doing at all times.

Hey guys, neat little site you’ve got here! Can’t wait to see it grow ;).
Also, keep some empty room in your suitcase, ’cause I’ll be expecting some souvenirs ;). Not too many though. I’ll be satisfied with one from each city… :P.
Ok I dropped them on Schiphol airport this morning and they safely arrived in Helsinki this afternoon
And safely arrived in Moscow around 10.55 our time
Pretty chilly in Moscow, but no snow forecasted. Well, take a nice Vodka to keep yourselves warm and comfy!
Heya Bernd
Here’s a small note of a friend of Kim’s (Morgan’s mommy). What a cool trip you are making! Incredible. Hope you have a lot of fun, meet lots of interesting people and have a heap of unforgettable experiences.
